A new Cap & Design is launched

– It has been a great pleasure working with this project. Söderhavet managed very well with the task of refining our thoughts and requests into a definite form. The connection between the paper magazine and the web site is now significantly stronger and the segmentation of content is improved, says Joel Westerholm, web editor at Cap & Design.

For the third year in a row, Söderhavet is one of the top three digital agencies in Sweden, according to the annual completion Agency of the Year, arranged by Regi and Dagens Industri. We congratulate our friends at Daytona and Dear Friends for winning the first and second prize.
Polisen.se winner of Web Service Awards

Polisen.se has won the prize as Sweden’s best web site in the community communication category at the Web Service Awards. The prize was handed out at a ceremony this Wednesday evening. Söderhavet has done the concept and design for the awarded site.
Swedish Radio to Söderhavet

In spite of fierce competition Söderhavet managed to get the general agreement for web service productions at Swedish Radio. The first mission is to create fun web games for this year’s advent calendar. Swedish Radio is a non-commercial, independent public service radio broadcaster, producing radio for more 4,2 million listeners per day.
Saco.se -spacious, aery and launched

More than 600 000 members and 23 federations of labor unions have gotten a new site. Söderhavet has been in charge of the strategy, the concept and the design. Our fellow agency Nansen has done the technique. In cooperation with Saco, we have developed a site that is courageous enough to breathe, say what is important and at the same time facilitates for the users to find what they are looking for.
A new Resume.se is launched

The number one magazine covering the communication industry, Resumé, wants to keep its avant-garde position. Söderhavet was put in charge for reinventing a concept and design for their site. The result is an open, broad and interactive shape, allowing more editorial freedom and a more enjoyable experience for the user.
New site for XL-Bygg

The largest construction retail chain in Sweden, Xl-Bygg, has an entirely new web site. Söderhavet and its fellow agency Nansen has done the strategy, the concept, the design and the technique for the digital presence of more than 100 of XL-Bygg retail stores, all on one single platform. And that's only the beginning...
Radiotjänst gets a new site

As a part of Swedish public service (the company is owned by Swedish Television, Swedish Radio and Swedish Educational Broadcasting), radiotjanst.se needed a modern, innovative and exciting feel to it. Together with Nansen, Söderhavet developed a concept, a design and a technical solution meeting those demands. The design is also crated with a strategic purpose in mind: generating interest and getting the visitors to seek more information about the obligatory radio and television fee.
The Swedish Trade Federation gets a career site

In order to emphasize the great career opportunities available within the trade industry The Swedish Trade Federation hired Söderhavet to do the concept and design for a new site called “Karriär i handlen”. The target group is young people and students.
Celebration at the National Library of Sweden
2011 November 24
Since 1661, the National Library of Sweden has been in charge of the vast undertaking of gathering one copy of all units ever published in Sweden. Initially, it was in order to control what was written. Today, the purpose is to preserve the information for the future. Together with KB, Söderhavet has developed a web exhibition with a responsive design as a celebration of the now 350-year-old law for documentation preservation.
Jursitbyrån gets a new site

Jursitbyrån consists of independent lawyers in cooperation with Swedbank. The new site has the ambition of being a market leader and implementing their way of working from real life: with a take-off from ordinary peoples lives and situations. Nansen has done the technique, Söderhavet the strategy, the concept and the design.
Bonnierförlagen to Söderhavet

Bonnierförlagen, Sweden's biggest publishing group with a large number of publishing houses, manages more than 80 web sites. We have begun the vast and exciting task of developing a new concept and design for all of them. The main challenge consists of developing a common platform and at the same time respect the unique identity of each bublishing house.

This winter we did the design and concept for travsport.se and this spring a new version of svenskgalopp.se will be ready for launch. Holmen's new site launched

The forest company Holmen’s new web site is launched. Söderhavet has done the digital strategy, the concept and the design, the technical part is made by Sogeti. It’s a merge of five previous web sites, with a new structure that is non-organizational. Instead, it’s built around the core of Holmen; the forest, the people and the products. We like to call it a communicating structure.

Megakillen is the most downloaded iPad-app

Already on the same day that Apple approved our Ipad application for the children’s book series "Megakillen" it went straight to the top of the list of the most downloaded applications within its category. And the reviews have been positive. Concept development and design was made by Söderhavet in cooperation with the authors and Rabén & Sjögren (publishing house).
Fastighetsbyrån gets iPad app

The leading real estate agency in Sweden, Fastighetsbyrån, is now the first estate agency with an application for iPad. Söderhavet did the design. Recently we also did the design for Fastighetsbyrån’s iPhone -and Nokia application. This makes Fastighetsbyrån the number one most available and mobile real estate agency in Sweden.
Winner of two categories EpiServer Awards

Söderhavet with partners are the winners of two out of five categories on EpiServer Awards 2010. Best intranet: Coop (technology by Sogeti, strategy, concept and design by Söderhavet). The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority to Söderhavet

The Swedish Association of Health Professionals gets a new web site

110.000 employees within the public welfare system has gotten a new website with strategy, concept and design made by Söderhavet. Our fellow agency Nansen was in charge of the implementation and technical concept. The site symbolizes the modern trade unions that we believe has to be characterized by openness and the desire for dialogue with its members and other significant stakeholders.
New site for BSK Arkitekter

Söderhavet has developed the new concept and design for BSK Arkitekters’ new web site. The design is based partly on a graphic profile developed by Silver, partly on an architectural concept, developed by Söderhavet, where the content is displayed at random in rectangles. The entire site is built in Wordpress.
The Financial Sector Union of Sweden’s new site launched

The Financial Sector Union of Sweden is the largest trade union for employees in the financial sector in Sweden. A new web site, worthy of that position, has been launched. Spacey, dialogue friendly and event orientated has been the words in focus whilst creating the design.

Polisen.se best authority site 2009

Internetworld has nominated Polisen.se (the Swedish Police web site) as the best Authority Site in Sweden 2009. We thank our partners Alenio and KnowIT and congratulate all of our friends at the Swedish Police. We are also proud to announce that another authority site for which we also did the design for, the Swedish Armed Forces, came in as the second best.
Internetworld writes (translated by Söderhavet): "Only a few authorities have such big possibilities of using their web site to increase dialogue with their citizens as the police has. And this year, a huge step has been taken. The most obvious functions are emphasized and the previously messy structure with several different sites for the different districts are now merged into one."
Every year, Internetworld puts together a list of "Swedens’ top 100 sites" and announce the winner of different categories. The jury consists of Internetworlds’ editorial. They judge the sites on the following criteria:
